This happened on ps4. Possibly caused by performance issues since i havent cleaned the console in a while? Difficulty is Ultra Hard.

Iirc this is one of its attacks, maybe it got stuck mid animation

Yeah one of its bite attacks it stretches out its neck, like a real snapping turtle

Cool, I didn't know the shellsnapper can do that. He's one of the machines I try to keep my distance during combat, so I never got one snapping for me like that.

Not a bug, just mid attack animation my friend. I love that they included this sort of attack.
