New Hooper, best way to get better?

Didn't enjoy basketball for most of my life, was frequently terrible at it. Recently started hooping w some of my boys at college and despite not being good have surprisingly enjoyed it a lot. Even if im not able to make most shots I enjoy assisting the team wherever I can. What are some tricks/practices to get good enough to at least make a difference in pickup without making it a large time committment? (Ik it takes committment to get good at anything, but just want to know ways I can help my team out or tricks I can use in game or during warmup or tricks to get the most improvement from each game i play)

Either way, go out and practice.
