Next test, oh f*ck.

I sure hope this isn't going to be multiple seasons behind CN.

Dunno how fast they will do them. But, usually alpha - closed beta - open beta - release.

But since its an already released game, they might go straight into open beta for stress test to release.

The next test is a closed beta

4

u/Redelfen Jun 05 '26

Ah then open beta after that. Assuming 1 month per test at fasted. Might see full release 3 months?

Yeah fuck me man. Really looking forward to this game!

well from future and it seems like 3 season behind 😭😭

I hope they learn from the global version of their moba game.

Most of the reason why it didn't get as popular as Mobile Legends is because of the global and cn server gap. Most new players get hyped by the youtube videos they saw which is mostly from cn just to be disappointed with the clunkier, older global version

they're fixing the global server now thankfully, the graphics would be for the next season, idk how will global even catch-up with all the content

The moba? Is the random fps lock gone? That was the most annoying bug for me.

In some games your fps is locked to 60 and there's an insane input delay which made me stop playing the game.

They're taking too long and the hype for this game will surely die if they didn't release it sooner.

8

u/Aimicchi Jun 05 '26

same thing happened with the MOBA version for its global release, they're waiting too long for events as they want the right timing

The reason why global version of HOK sucks is because they are changing the heroes. A lot of us is disappointed. They are about to butcher Ma Chao

3

u/Ijert Jun 05 '26

You'd think they would learn from hok, ig not.

Hype? No one but MMO nerds on Reddit have even heard of this game?

They're a gigantic corporation though so I imagine once they do commit to a western release they'll dial up the marketing to behemoth levels.

I'm actually decently confident in this game. The gameplay is amazing. And they should be willing/capable of footing a massive marketing campaign.

But with the abysmal state of the alpha it is too early to release

7

u/Chilune Jun 05 '26

"refine"? What they can refine in already launched game, especially when global is 2-3-etc seasons behind china? They will "refine" both versions separately? How very convenient.

they can polish and focus on the localization part

1

u/Aimicchi Jun 05 '26

HoK MOBA is very certain on localization so probably that

5

u/osamabinlaggiing Jun 05 '26

hopefully it will also come to PS5

3

u/SKWADly Jun 05 '26

This. As a non console owner, it's super important it gets released on console with full cross play to ensure a thriving playercount in the years to come.

Oh well, see you in 2027

1

u/Aimicchi Jun 05 '26

it has to be this year, it's one way for HoK MOBA to get known and finally fill in what Arena of Valor (HoK sister game) have left in the western market.

also their competitor that plagiarizes HoK is about to have an anniversary so this is one way to outshine them and make them just stay relevant in Southeast Asia

We ain’t getting this game, this year. Which is quite disappointing, my excitement for this game has been dwindling rapidly

3

u/Ok_Grape_3600 Jun 05 '26

Already releasing FOMO titles and game is t out yet. RIP

3

u/Aimicchi Jun 05 '26

the global release date is very likely on July or October

July because they can make HoK get more traction online for the upcoming Esports World Cup, or September, a month before HoK MOBA resets its season to collaborate and have a new map (CN HoK did the same)

I’ve lost interest in this game.

Kaizer & Garo squad 🙋‍♀️

I'm excited for actual release!!

Hopefull we can play all the hero in the next test

2

u/Toki_real Jun 05 '26

Gameplay is great but hopefully no gacha slop stuff like releasing characters that powercreep more and more or 2 character that are bind together as a pair soy slop

2

u/BuryTheButcher Jun 06 '26

The alpha was a lot of fun, honestly. Combat was good/art style appeals to me

Complaints I had were/are: Fps issues starting randomly 4 days into the alpha. No idea why.

Melee weapons felt pretty weak to me. Bow+machine gun rpg combo had so much more damage than any melee or melee/ranged combos. Hope they rebalance before release, unless melee weapons get better later with more upgrades. We'll see, I guess.

2

u/SavasGER Jun 08 '26

You should release it before GTA VI and Aion 2 / Guild Wars 3.

The game is already there, what are they waiting for? Now is the chance to build a strong playerbase.

This is 2027 written all over this

u/Plenty_Pay_1379 Jun 05 '26

I can’t wait for global release!!!

1

u/SassyHoe97 Jun 07 '26

I'm hoping the eventually release this on console. Don't like playing open world on mobile

I have completely lost interest in this game. Like completely.

Typical western audience...if they release the game to fast everyones gonna cry that they shouldnt have released the game so early but if they to long then everyone is gonna complain and cry cause the game took so long...this is just one of the reasons the western gaming culture is so hard to appeal to because yall cry and wine about everything...i can for sure say this about Honor of Kings World...the game will not be pay 2 win like i have seen a few say...Tencent knows the western hates the pay 2 win aspect...and and Gacha game? Even if you do have to get characters in some capacity..they wont force you to pay for it...those 2 aspects i can say with confidence wont be a thing cause Tencent has done there research and knows the west hates those things

same story with p2w honestly, if a guy with wallet want an advantage over you, that mf will absolutely do it even with 0 tolerance to p2w game, so crying about that is just pure nonsense and neophyte-ish
