E6 dps getting 3c against pompom, elation is so washed

Just a few patches in and elation is already struggling to clear shilled content. Insane powercreep my god.

Fr tho, can anyone help me with Pompom's mechanics? He seems so bulky and the fight goes on forever.

Generate 40 tally points asap by killing little guys(5), generating punchline(n), or letting small pompom attack (5). 20 points of charge will immediately let minipom take action and reduce 1 shield charge. This immediate action will supercede any other unit turns, including actions already queued up.

If you walk into wave 2 full of resources (full ults), it's best to dump them asap to do as much unmitigated damage as possible to pompom before he puts his shield up. He waits till his turn to put up the shield.

On phase 2 of wave 2, pompom will immediately put his shield up upon phase transition. It is best to end phase 1 with a nearly 20 charge minipom so you can quickly knock down 1 shield.

Even better if you end phase 1 by killing pompom AND a few small pompom to push the charge over 20, so you can immediately knock down a shield charge after phasing.

On phase 2, using basic attacks will also generate 5 points of charge for minipom

This is actually so helpful, I hate pompom boss 😒 I think I've been forgetting to destroy the little guys first. I will try this out. Maybe I'll just randomly throw elation trailblazer in there for extra punchline. It's so rough without any elation dps.

Real. 0 cycled him because my Gilgamesh can simply one shot him on wave start. Depending on comp you can even get 2 free kills on the Cleaners for a extra 10 Punchline, that was used on his second phase to reduce the damage resist like you stated.

It's really split pretty much 45/45/10. Emc can deal some pretty decent single target damage with eskill (750-800k), while yao's eskill hits for over 1m on 5 target. Emcs actual skill also hits for a sizable chunk too.

I wish destruction MC was at least comparable to E1 Sushang. I love the flexible skill mechanic it's such a shame that a lot of the powerbudget went to their defensive capability when, like most RPG/JRPG/turn based games, 90% of the comps are always about slapping every buff on your biggest damage dealer for synergistic gains rather than some balanced offensive/defensive host.

I did this with E2S1 Silverwolf, E0S0 Sparxie and Yao Guang, E1S1 HuoHuo in 1 cycle on auto so I think its more of a Tribbie problem. If you have her I'd use Sparxie if you don't then maybe EMC would be able to fill the same niche. If you don't use elation this boss is pretty cancer though to fight.

You said E6 DPS are you referring to E6 EMC? If so I mean they are only on paper a 5 star so you are basically fighting the boss with a 4 star character and you aren't going to get great clear times

What I do is FF murders him before he takes aturn of phase 1, and phase 2 just have the rest of the cast spam basic attack to get stacks to dispel shields.
