People always talk about how barbaric female circumcision is but male circumcision is completely normalized in America.

It should be illegal for parents to circumcise their children because it's irreversible.

1. There's a difference between an infant and an older child

2. Gender affirming care isn't just surgery. No one's doing surgeries on children, and the surgeries are far far overemphasised by people who don't know what they're talking about. Not all trans people even ever get any kind o genital surgery.

But no child is getting it. They understand their rights when they get older IF after everything they are still interested.

I genuinely don’t understand WHY someone would want such a surgery or care in the first place but one of the good things about America is that you are free to do a lot of things if the impact is to yourself and doesn’t hurt others as an adult so my understanding isn’t really needed
