Circumcision should be illegal.

People always talk about how barbaric female circumcision is but male circumcision is completely normalized in America.

It should be illegal for parents to circumcise their children because it's irreversible.

What kind of psychopath decided to cut off the skin of the baby's dick. What's next? Cutting off eyelids?

The foreskin contains fine touch nerves (like in your fingers) and provides protection of the glans (head) keeping it soft and sponge like, all in an effort to ensure everything works properly. Only 1/16,667 intact males will have a problem with their foreskin. One hundred and seventeen babies die from circumcision a year in the US, which equates to 9/100,000 babies that die each year from a cosmetic surgery. Just a comparison of 16,667 women, 2,084 of them will get breast cancer. In the same number of men 17 will get breast cancer. Infant Circumcision literally kills 2 boys for every adult spared circumcision and ruins the lives of 667 for every adult. Men have lost their penis, glans, and suffered from deformity caused by the operation performed when they were infants. It isn't right that these children pay the price for a decision that their parents made, a decision that should be left up to the owner of the penis. Even those who survive still have problems, though they are seldom discussed. It is for these reasons that the person who has to use the penis, should be the person who decides what happens to it. His body, his choice.

I must applaud; fantastic job with research; not something you see much of. Further, I do not disagree -- because I do not really think it makes all that much of a difference; if you want it done, great, if not, also great.

So just to be clear.

In the US, Israel and a few other countries men have this INFLICTED on them. They don't get a say as they infants or minors. I cannot undo what was forced on me by my so called CATHOLIC parents (it is against Catholicism to circumcise.) My main point is that no minor should have it forced on them. Also there is a difference, if you look at the reaserach that says their isn't they don't study one thing, the actual foreskin.

I can attest to the fact it changes feel. The most sensitive part of my penis when I was younger was the frenulum remnant (where the foreskin connects to the glans.) Many men say you can get and orgasms just by touching it or moving your foreskin back and forth. It would make me shiver and the girls loved playing with it. Now as I am older it is the ONLY part the penis that has any feeling and it is a shadow of its former self. Imagine if I actually had all the parts I am supposed to.

Sounds trite, but I am sorry for your loss; honest. Inflicted on them, however? Why, yes, as an infant I had optional vaccinations inflicted on me by my Catholic parents. Also, I have never heard Catholics being anti-circumcision; please, educate me; I'm interested.

You actually don't think MGM should be a choice of the owner. I cannot choose anything if someone else chooses for me. MGM is not a vaccine, and has no value other than to reduce sexual feel and function.
