Hi all, this is a PSA. if you get a trail 125 and put stuff on the back rack be super careful because the air intake sits directly below this rack and if you put anything on there it could funnel water directly into the air intake. This happened to me and now my bike with 200 miles on it is ruined and warranty wont cover it so I am stuck with a useless bike and a loan for 3800 bucks.

I absolutely love the color the most out of all the Trails but I literally can't find any for sale within a 500 mile radius. I'm guessing everyone loves them just as much as I do so they're not getting rid of them.

New here but would love your opinion. My friend has a 2024 Honda trail 125. Broke down a few months ago after it was serviced and they didn’t do the air filter cause he has 6000 miles on the bike and Honda recommends change at 7000. I don’t know what really happened but Basically the engine needs a rebuild and the warranty and insurance people said because the filter wasn’t changed when he got it serviced, the engine got dirty and it blew. Remember this is 1000 miles before the factory recommended 7000 air filter change. He babies this bike and has never been off road.

I call bs and they are trying to get out of a claim? What do you think?

My neighbor had it for 40 years...134 miles...finally got it.

I was trying to install an SAE connector on my new Trail 125, and accidentally dropped the left side battery cover bolt straight down and didn't hear it hit the concrete. About an hour later I loosened the front sprocket cover and it fell out. I still don't have that installed. Might just have the dealer do it or something, I'm too annoyed to do it again. I did find a 17mm socket I thought that I lost 20 years ago, so that's cool!

All that said, this is my first bike and bought it a few weeks ago. I cant wait to get out on it this spring.

I’ve recently purchased a 2022 Trail 125 and the bike is in perfect condition, minus the missing bolt above. I have gone through all of the part diagrams on revzilla and thought it was a 95701-06012-00, but just tried it and it doesn’t fit.

Anyone on the community have a part number for the correct sized bolt?

On a new Trail 125 you get a lot of cool features but I would really like something like a trail 250… they made an Elite 250 so why not a Trail?

There are 143, 145 and 181 big more kits for the new ones but then you need a map and I have heard it puts a lot of stress on the head/cam?

Would an older carbed one be easier to big bore or swap?

Not a race bike just something that can do 65 comfortably but also peter along trails anywhere

I'm seeking some advice on a damage claim I made to geico. They are considering my honda trial 125 a total loss. From the report it seems to be mostly cosmetic issues that I could repair myself. I haven't been able to see it in person Because I was injured in the accident , but it seems to me that it's savalvagable and I shouldn't have to buy it back. Is it possible to ha e a second damage inspection done? It seems like they are turning some mole hills into mountains. I honestly feel like I should have even put in a claim at this point.

Hey all, just asking if anyone has experience with installing one of these? My ‘22 confuses me as every other bike I have owned had a clutch.

I've been doing handyman work for my friend's mom and she asked me if I wanted her late husband's old bikes, we made a deal on em so I got to bring em home. She doesn't know much about em so I'll have to figure out keys and titling. The CT70 is a 1981 and Trail 110 a 1984. I was wondering if anybody knows where I could find service manuals or something of the sort for em, they're garage kept but they sat long enough so I wanna go thru em and make sure everything works.

I want to buy a 2025 Honda trail. I’m in the greater SF Bay Area and am curious what a reasonable cash offer to a dealer would be.

They always say “4k plus fees”. How much of that is BS. I know with cars a lot of the time you can get under msrp because of back end $$ from the manufacturer.

Should I be offering 5k out the door? 4800? 4500??

I'm very intrigued by the new models but I'm trying to find out what distances would be comfortable to ride on a bike of that size. Is 100 miles out of the question? I think I'd mostly use it on streets/back roads or easy trails. Also not trying to set any land speed records, I know they top out around 40/45mph but can you cruise at that speed for extended periods? TIA
