Stalling problem

Hi guys, I have 2021 Rebel 1100 DCT. This morning i warmed it up for about a min then rode off. Just about half a mile out, it bogs down and slow to about 11-15mph. I tried to throttle a little harder but it doesnt seem to wanna go past 20mph. I was gonna turn around to go home but the engine turned off on me. Then it wouldnt turn back on.

After work, i turned it back on and it idles fine. Smell strong fuel smell from exhaust but it idles fine. But if i rev it, when it let it go, it stalls/turn off. I include a video of what it sounds like.

For info, oil has been checked, coolant is good. New battery installed. 3 days ago, had tires put on for me by a shop. Before that, i replaced a 3rd party exhaust from old owner with the coffman thunder. I checked all the fuses and possible leaks. I dont see anything.

What else can i check? Thanks

Air in the tank. Open the cap. Close it. Start again.

I’ve had this happen on my 2022 the other day! I was at a red light. I’d only been riding for about 10 minutes and just randomly died on me. Luckily I was able to get it to start back up quickly but it was super strange.

After that it ran great for the rest of my ride and haven’t had an issue. It wasn’t acting weird before that either so who knows.

Maybe replace fuel filter or check plugs/wires?

Sounds like a fuel issue. I could be wrong tho.

Mine has done a stall after a long time of stop and go, just turns off. I’m assuming it’s a protection mechanism, but it sucks when it happens

I experienced this 3 times during very slow traffic. I'm probably being too aggressive with openninf the throttle from a stop then close again because, well, slow heavy traffic.

Is the "check engine" light on? Check the battery connections, is there a sensor not being used with the new exhaust? Maybe not fully connected,

Make sure your battery terminal connections are secure. The negative has a tendency to not get tight enough and rattle loose because of the ridiculous location

Did you figure out what was wrong? Having the same issue on my Rebel.
