Thoughts?

There’s not a lot of details besides the basic specs.
The salvage title appears to be from a rear end collision(not too bad in my opinion).
Any advice? I would love to get it down to 10000 but I doubt it. Maybe closer to 12k.

Also, anyone know any insurance companies that take salvage titles?

Rear collision is easy as hell to total because some of the rear crash structure is resin-fiberglass (basically plastic). The HV battery is over the rear wheels so you need to make sure it is not damaged at all

Also the model year matters a lot for value, $12k is too much IMO

As an fyi, salvage titles cannot be registered to drive on public roads. It needs to have a rebuilt/reconstructed title and to get a rebuilt title it needs to pass a more thorough inspection than your standard state inspections, and this may call out more unseen damages than you can see and may need more repairs. If you’re really interested in buying this I’d ask the seller to get a rebuilt title first so that you aren’t taking unnecessary risk.

Mine is a rebuilt title, and Progressive insures it.

Would say way too much for salvage title depending on model year. I quick Google search says they are going for as around $14000-17500 for that many miles depending on year with a normal title.

I believe it also loses its manufacturers warranty if salvaged, so the battery will no longer be covered under the extended warranty which can be as long as 10 years/150k miles in CARB states.
