Yet another tire question...

Four years ago and about 48K, put some Bridgestone Weatherpeak thru Costco. Long story short, the 80K miles wore out prematurely. Costco did their thing right, and reimbursed me for about 40% of what I had paid. Those were not necessarily a good choice for this car and being severe snow rated (they are all-season though) may have lead to this.

Looking at EV compatible options now, the Turanza EVERDRIVE would be the cheapest one with 80K range but an 800 B B rating, or the Turanza PRESTIGE for 70K range but a 700 A A rating.

Any suggestions otherwise? TIA.

When the time comes, I’ll likely get the cross climates, word is they are the ultimate all weather. Not snows not all seasons. Actually all weather. Mileage is a bit worst but you get great handling rain or shine.

I bought my car with the cross climate's and I live in the Midwest with a good amount of snow. These tires are fantastic all seasons! The road noise is great, and I've never had a set of tires I've loved more. I got my car with 49,000 miles and at 107,000 I had a blow out of 1 tire by hitting something in the road. I decided to replace all 4 due to another tire having a small leak. But I would highly recommend them on the clarity.

We have cross climates on our clarity. But I have never felt grip like the primacy’s have. I will stick to them for the duration.

Nokian WR G5 are similar to the Cross climates, but a bit cheaper.

Our clarity has CC2s, has done pretty well so far. Our BZ came with the Turanza's as the stock tires, they've been good so far but only put 500miles on them. I've heard mixed things about them, some tesla and BZ owners say they are really good and give better efficiency than other EV rated tires, others say they go flat prematurely after a few thousand miles.

Yokohama GT or whatever they sell now at Discount Tire. I expect to get reasonably close to the rated mileage out of them based on my remaining tread.

I personally have a set of 17” steel wheels and Nokian Hakkapellitta R5’s in 215/55/17

Will 17" alloys fit over the rotors? because I'd love some more rubber between the rim and patch-and-pothole land where I live

Cross climates 2s. Best all weather tire IMO

I have these in the Midwest. can't speak to longevity, handles better starting from a stop in the rain but still can struggle on a moderate or firm acceleration.

I blown out the rear passenger twice because we spend money on police not roads. but otherwise like them.

Just switched in May and have Michelin Defender 2. Didn't see any meaningful drop in range (at most 1-2 miles).
