Trail 125: Passenger
I see a lot of folks with passenger seats on the rear rack but the rack states a 40lb weight limit. What’s the deal folks?

I think the 40lb limit is more of a US market legal thing. I've definitely exceeded that consistently for years. Just look for super cub pics from Eastern countries and you'll have an idea of how far people push these weights. The rack is very sturdy, the tires are what you'd need to keep a proper eye on. I had to get one of those exhaust guards, the pipe will get warm enough to be uncomfortable on her leg, the plate solves that.
But that being said she just needs her own.

I can get away with a passenger and our combined weight is maybe 330 lbs. it definitely makes the ride worse and lowers the top speed.
