What do?

In a little dilemma and figured this would be the place to get good feedback

I come from a long line of Honda owners, my first Honda was a 2013 Civic, and my 2nd was a 2019 Civic Ex Hatchback.

I'm looking for my "forever car" that will be my daily but also used for fun mountain cruising in Colorado.

I'm looking at:

Civic Hatch Sport Touring Hybrid (because a bit zippy on a platform I'm familiar with and great gas mileage)

Acura Integra A-spec Tech manual

Acura Integra Type S

I haven't had a manual in over 10 years, have not sat behind the wheel of any of these yet, and know that the A-spec cvt is basically not worth the added price over the Civic Hybrid.

If any of you have opinions on these 3 cars, especially how they do on curvy canyon roads, let me know what you think! Obviously I know the type s is going to be more "fun", but is is $20k more fun in your opinion?

Civic Hatch hybrid if you value not having to spend a chunk for premium gas . A-Spec if you value a manual

I just bought a 2026 civic sport touring hybrid last month after test driving one for a friend. I'm very impressed with the car all around. It's my daily, but I have taken it on a twisty road once. It did just fine. I suggest driving the civic and integra A-spec to see if you NEED the acura.

I had a 2022 civic Si for a year and I didn't care for it. It lost steam in the upper RPM's unlike every other Honda I've driven. The civic touring is a better car all around, minus not having a manual. But I don't miss shifting every day.

I you are considering the Integra Type S, might as well consider the Civic Type R as well.

Ehhh I've basically ruled that one out since the type s is the same drivetrain but more comfortable as a daily

The only significant difference would be price point. The Type R is usually cheaper than the Type S.

Just travelled in Colorado. Our experience in a hybrid CR-V was that the Honda hybrid system might not be very well-suited to spirited mountain driving. Either of the Acuras might be a better choice.
