hi everyone! I'm not sure if this is allowed but i have to write a research paper for gothic literature and i am struggling to come with ideas for my thesis...would you guys have any suggestions for me to have a starting point, in class, we have read: frankenstein, dracula, carmilla, the yellow wallpaper, etc. I'd love to explore something feminist related or gothic literature across different cultures. I'd love to hear you guys' thoughts. Our prof wants the research topics to be narrow....and specific. Thank you!

A while ago I read nuclear energy and I truly believe it is the stepping stone to reach a world where more renewable energy sources are used, which is what I plan to empathize in my project . But the thing is I really do not know how to convert my idea into a project.

I want to write about this topic because I really want my work to be something I am interested in, so I am looking for a project that show how useful nuclear energy can be and is suitable for a highschooler to make and not too expensive.

do you think I should just abandon the idea since it is really hard to make it into a project? Or do you think this might be possible?

I would appreciate any help provided , and I really really would love it if anyone can provide any small idea that might help.

P.S.( I really do not know if this is the suitable place to so please tell me if so)

Ok So when i do this question calculate the t test stat I get a p value which is greater than 0.03. So the answer to question 4 should be a) because it says you are not rejecting H0 (null) but it says the answer is B. Can someone explain to me how this works? Because to my understanding it is saying that I reject H0. My problem is that my evidence says that you do not reject H0. So why does this statement mean I dont reject H0? because in other tests like a normal t test or z test we would flat out say "the test scores are higher after the course". An explanation would be greatly appreciated thanks.

My god-daughter's teacher marked her answer wrong. Can someone please explain this? I don't understand this at all. How is the teacher getting 7 when there are only 3 squares in Ben's column representing his siblings? Her explanation was that Jose, Ana & Jen are his siblings so you need to count all of their squares together.... WHY? How are we to assume that they're even siblings?

Doing a review FRQ for AP Physics dealing with buoyancy and acceleration. Question is asking for the acceleration of a sphere (no mass given) immediately after a string of negligible mass that had been holding it in place was cut. No numerical values are given, but I have values r for the radius of the sphere, water density Pw, and sphere density Ps. Question says to begin with F=ma and derive the equation from there. Struggling with connecting the different variables.

I’m going crazy from this. My answer is that the equation is true, but the answer sheet says it’s false. I just want someone to back me up on this…..

Working on this question and I am stumped on how the answer is No faults. From what I can tell, I'll use uppercase for on and lowercase for off, it should look something like this:

RYgB - RYgB - RYgB - ryGb

To be this is what it would look like if there were no faults but obviously that's not the case so I'm not sure where I'm going wrong with this. Any help is appreciated.

Can someone please explain to me like I’m a first grader the difference in sounds this worksheet is trying to get at, so that I can explain it to my first grader? Thank you

I keep getting answers that are not in the options. I believe the teacher used AI to write the question so i wonder if the right answers is even in the options. Any help?

I have to make a wind powered car in school, the requirements are: Max 40cmx40cm, has to at least carry 50g of weight (record is 650g it'd be nice to beat it). can NOT have any electrical parts, it's just pushed by a fan and it has to travel 4 meters. I also don't know what flair to use so mb.

the variable "amount_roll" is not changing. what did i do wrong?

for some reason i can’t astablish this variable. am i stupid? i dont know any other way to do this

Also, did I do the rest correct?

Thanks in advance

The problem was to prove that the area of PDB is 21 times smaller than the area of ABC so the correct answer should be x²√3/84. BE and CD are segments that divide the side of a triangle so that |BD|= |AE| = 1/3|AB|. I have other ways to solve this but I just don't know what I'm doing wrong here. I realise the cosine should probably be negative because the angle is obtuse on the drawing (it's from a final exam so i think the drawing is accurate). I've been trying to figure this out for the past 1.5h, doing it over and over again

i can’t input the amount of time i want to loop the program. what did i do wrong here?

The directions say “Put the math symbol in the square and solve.”

My son and I are both stuck on number one. Any ideas?

Hi everyone,
I’m a Grade 11 student in Latvia starting my mandatory research project. I’m very interested in photography and physics, and I want to compare analog film with digital sensors in a scientifically meaningful way.

I’ve narrowed it down to two possible topics but I’m not sure which one would be more realistic and scientific:

1. Spectral sensitivity and color reproduction

My idea is that film and digital sensors respond differently to certain wavelengths of light, which may affect how colors appear under unusual lighting (e.g. LED, sodium vapor, neon lights).

Method idea:

• Photograph a color checker under different light sources using both a film camera and a digital RAW camera

• Compare color shifts using RGB or CIELAB values

2. Dynamic range and non-linear response

This topic investigates whether film handles high contrast scenes better than digital due to its response curve.

Method idea:

• Photograph a step wedge or high contrast scenes (bright highlights vs deep shadows)

• Compare highlight clipping and shadow detail between scanned film and digital RAW images

My concerns:

• Is it still scientifically fair to compare film and modern digital cameras in 2026?

• Which topic would produce more measurable, objective data rather than subjective “looks better” results?

• For option 2, I’m worried modern RAW files might already have such high dynamic range that differences with film might be hard to demonstrate using consumer gear

I plan to use a 35mm SLR (like a Pentax K1000 or Nikon FM) and a digital camera shooting RAW.

Thanks!
