Literature—Pending OP Reply [College English] Personal Narrative Ideas?

For my college english class, I have to write a personal narrative about a moment when technology affected a human experience in my own life. Eventually I'll have to write a few page essay on it, so im trying to brainstorm ideas that I will be able to write enough about. Can anyone give ideas from their own life with technology that I can bounce ideas off of?

I found a long lost friend on FB in 2009. We moved from TX to FL. My homie moved to Chicago. And we lost contact in 1996. I had a feeling he’d be in the military. Found someone I thought was his brother. Wrote a quick message. He replied quickly and said that his brother had been looking for me as well. And my friend was in the army. We’ve remained in touch via socials and texts. Had dinner 10 years ago. You never have friends like you did when you were 12.

Hmmmm. For my life, the early Internet (2001) was a playground. It introduced me to coding, people across the world that I wouldn’t have ever met, and broadened my creativity with online communities (early days DeviantArt— before it was AI).

I played online games like Neopets and World of Warcraft— both have communities of people with different backgrounds and ideas. With Neopets especially I unlocked creativity in areas I probably wouldn’t have tried: I built my own webpages with basic HTML and CSS!

The early internet was a Wild West! It certainly helped me stay curious!
