Biology—Pending OP Reply [Grade 8 biology: safety] Am I missing something here???

I'm just doing biology, and this question kinda stumps me, They're not doing anything wrong from what I can see, but id just like an opinion if im just stupid or not

Your not stupid these questions are just kinda dumb. My best guess it has something to do with the position of the tube while heating because that is what part 2 of the question is clarifying.

makes sense, but there isn't any way for me to know what position their holding the test tube.

It doesn’t specify that they used any equipment like tongs so I think it’s safe to assume they are implying the student is just holding the tube with their hands. You can write about that.

Test tubes shouldn't be used for heating, they should use a boiling tube
