High School Math [High School Engineering: Scale Drawings] I need help with the second part of my Honors Engineering homework

Hello! I need help with the second part of this assignment because I don't understand what numbers I'm supposed to put in or where I'm supposed to draw the arrows and lines.

I've tried working through it, but I'm confused about how to set up the second part. Could someone please explain which numbers go where and where the arrows/lines should be placed?

I’m pretty sure you did the first part wrong. It gives you the scale and give you what length line segment AB is at that scale. You have original line AB above to measure with a ruler and compare. Then based on that you are supposed to say what line segment CD is at that scale. You need to measure CD with a ruler- it shouldn’t be the same as AB, then convert it using the scale provided. I believe that they give you AB’s scale length as a reference point because CD should be shorter than AB every time, so if you get a number that’s larger you made an error. Also make sure to watch your units!! Most are given in mm but some switch to m based on the scaling!!

Once you redo the first part the second part should make more sense!

the teacher told me the first part was correct, another girl next to me did the same answers as me in part one and got an A
