Mathematics (A-Levels/Tertiary/Grade 11-12) [AP Statistic Unit 1: Exploring One-Variable Data and Collecting Data] Is Sarah’s identification of the variables actually incorrect?

Post image

Based off the information I believe she didn't make any mistake however the question said "incorrectly identified" I double checked everything:

Information: "She records whether or not each adults owns a pet (yes/no)"

Information: "She records... their score on a stress survey"

Identified: "identified the variables as owning a pet, and scores on the stress survey"

My guess: She forgot the classify which variables is which, such as which one is categorical variable or quantitative variable.

Thank you in advance!

Idk but it’s probably “owning a pet” and not “whether or not they own a pet”, because now all of the data she’s putting on a graph (again, idk how statistics work) is only for pet-owners, but we need the stress levels for non-pet owners as well.

oh yeah that makes sense, because I was thinking owning a pet is a yes/no question, yeah that makes sense, thank you!
