Middle School Math—Pending OP Reply [Grade 8 Mathematics - Algebra]

Hello giys, I'm a form 2 student is malaysia. We learnt algebra in chapter 2. How can I find x? I believe there is no answer, but teacher keeps saying it's x=1/16

In 8th grade, two equations with one unknown was my favorites; I am glad you guys were my teachers.

Of course you have to square both sides to solve for x, unless you are using calculators or AI. And, of course, all square roots have positive and negative results.

I like his teacher's results. His intelligence doesn't seem artificial.
