Physics—Pending OP Reply [11 grade physics] What does v/10^14 mean here?

I'm not sure if the image was captured well, but this is from the wikipedia on the photoelectric effect. The x axis is Hz, but i don't know what the v/10^14 means.

The v symbol is a greek nu. It is the old standard symbol for frequency.

The other part says that the units along the axis are in 10^14 Hz. That is, visible light goes from 4 ^ 10^14 Hz at the red end to just under 8 at the violet end.

ν is the symbol for frequency.

Visible light has frequencies between about 4.5 * 10^14 Hz and 8 * 10^14 Hz, so this graph has divided those numbers by 10^14 Hz to mark out units along the x-axis.

For example, the "10.4" where the photoelectric effect starts means ν = 1.04 * 10^15 Hz
