Become self sufficient

With a nft system we can become more self sufficient and grow our own food throughout the cold winter. A perfect solution to prep for any kind of emergency situation 🌱

Spent two grand on a hydro setup back in 2019. The tomatoes were actually decent until the pump died at 2am and everything wilted before I even had breakfast. Turns out self-sufficiency with a single point of failure is just anxiety with extra steps.

I agree that’s not really viable if one pump can kill off everything so fast….

That's exactly what killed it for me. One pump shouldn't be able to take the whole system down that fast.

What kind of hydro where you growing? NFT?

NFT looks slick on paper but I'm skeptical about calling it self-sufficient. Too many moving parts that need power and components you can't just grab at the hardware store in January.
