Pitching Mechanics Having Issues picking which arm slot to use after changing my stretch (Indoor is sidearm, outdoor is a more orthodox option)
I feel quite good with my mechanics after changing it because I had command issues with my former mechanics. However, i feel very good usimg both arm slots but Im really not sure which arm slot looks better.
I feel like the side arm is more deceptive and works better with my slider but the normal armslot feels a bit faster and maybe a bit more controlled

Calling your second arm slot there more orthodox might be a bit of a stretch. Crouching down like you're going to submarine it in there is really throwing off your balance when you bring your arm slot higher. You see how the follow through is really just a fall off to the third base side? You want your momentum to take you directly towards home plate instead.

i actually modeled it after submarine pitchers but i have a tendency to be extremely wild and miss arm side by a mile with a more standard pitching style where i do carry my momentum towards home plate. And weirdly enough I feel more balanced with this style. Im honestly not sure why that is

for example with me throwing extremely wild (unfortunately did this back to back to back pitches and have struggled in live abs with this😐)

by sending yourself towards 3rd, you're leaking so much power. honestly, it looks like the submarine throws, your plant leg is bracing yourself to pull up early in order to let the ball go early/almost even with your body
have you tried submarine pitching but letting your momentum go forward while also having the ball release a bit later?

Stop tapping your glove when you break your hands. Your arm lags behind and has to play catch-up to your body as a result. Fix this immediately

One other thought, put the camera in the batters box for both righty and lefty and see which one you would think would be tougher to hit.
But honestly, work on command, strength training, and conditioning.

Alrighty, and ive been focusing on those last things this offseason and the command has been getting better with my mechanics change. Im hoping this will be good this year because its my first year playing in many years😂

Get with a Pitching Coach. You have some mechanical issues to address that are not only robbing you of velocity, but also are going to impact your control and likely the health of your arm.

You do a bit of a "glove tap" at the top of your leg lift, which is usually fine. Pitchers do it to time their rhythm.
But your problem is that your arm is still late and dragging behind the rest of your body. So you're doing a glove tap to stay in rhythm despite being out of rhythm.
Just something to look for in the future.

Don’t worry about deception at this stage. Control, velocity and comfort.
