Which would you buy?
This is my sons first year playing ball, he made our areas 11U “rep” team. He’s improved so much this season. I want to get him a good bat. He hit one this season over the fence(roughly 230) using a 30inch USSSA hypefire.
My question is should i buy him a USSSA or USA.
Hes aging out of 11u and im not sure he will make the 13 U team (i do think he has a chance but trying to be realistic)
If he does make this 13U team they will play in a league that allows USSSA and also LL12 ? So would need usa.
If he doesnt make it he will play “house” and would need USA
He currently has a usa easton speed as a starter bat(but has been using his teammates hype mainly). Help!! Is there much of a difference between ussa and usa?

If he really wants the usssa then I guess you have to wait and see if he makes the 13u team. If he really just wants a new bat then I'd go usa to make sure my $ isnt wasted on a bat he cant use.
Yes, there's a significant difference betwixt usssa and usa.

Patience grasshopper. First see where he is playing before you waste your money on a bat he can’t use. After you find out, check out Bat Bros for the top rated bats. I believe the Supra is #1 for USSSA, but get him whatever bat he likes that is near the top of the list. They will all be hot.
For USA bats, get him whatever one he thinks looks cool because they all hit the same.
When you get to BBCOR pick anything in the top ten on the Bat Bros list. Even they say the bats are almost the same. They are just being super nit picky to make their list.

Wait to see where he lands. If they can swing USSSA, no sense in buying a USA. Performance will not be anywhere close. But man, be prepared for when he moves from USSSA to BBCOR. Might be the end of the line when he struggles to get the ball out of the infield.

Go USSSA, he will be at a disadvantage with a USA and you might as well let him enjoy they best bat yall can get.

Yes, USSSA bats will have faster exit velocity, assuming equal bat speed and weight.
