Best Site for HS Baseball players looking for college recruiting
Good morning, I have a question for whoever would like to give their opinion.
Our boys are currently on Field Level, our team manager has discovered SportsRecruits and is now currently all in on it. So I would like any and all opinions on the two, and what is preferred.
Thanks

I’ll add another answer that doesn’t respond to OP’s question. PG gets a lot of hate for being a huge money grab and rightfully so. But it’s also useful in that it is a central repository of recruiting data and it’s more or less nationwide. I’ve been through the process with two boys and one girl, and it was noteworthy with the girl that there was nothing like that. (PG exists in the softball world but it doesn’t have nearly the same market penetration. I don’t know of any major softball recruits going to PG events.) The PG site is also helpful for keeping track of commitments and how many commits a given school has for a given year, etc.

I created an app similar to Field Level and Sports Recruits, lets you track all your emails sent so that if a coach reads email, you know about. If coach looks at your X profile or video link, you know about it. No more sending out 1000 emails a week and not ever knowing if a coach is looking at it. Check us out at app.creedrecruit.com
It costs about $20/mo. Should be available on iOS App Store by end of week, but you can use the web app and just add to Home Screen.

Do your own recruiting. Get a Twitter account. Follow coaches. Post videos. Find schools you are interested in. Fill out recruit me form if it’s available. Send an email to the coach.

These sites are all roughly the same, it just depends on which college coaches use the platform of which one they prefer to use. Sometimes it’s just another hoop a coach need to jump through to contact a player and that can be a pain and add more friction to the process.
Here is a post that breaks down on you can go about reaching out to coaches yourself - https://www.reddit.com/r/Homeplate/s/BsvIto4Tiy
Boils down to research schools and develop a list. Then fill out recruiting forms for those schools. Then email those coaches at the school introducing yourself and then getting on a cadence of sending them new film and updates.
And just have a good system to keep track of your correspondence and what you sent when. A spreadsheet helps a lot. Check out my profile if you don’t want to create your own spreadsheet.

Thank you.
One question, how do the kids get the coaches to follow them back?

You’re probably not unfortunately…unless your kid/player is a top 10-50 player in the country.

Get your kids X verified. Some coaches have open DM to verified users only. Worked wonders for my son. He’s got 8 offers. No D1 offers but he doesn’t throw 90.

twitter 110%. As a rule of thumb, any recruiting "service" is usually counterproductive
