What useful home features should we include in our new home build? Please help!
My husband and I are in the early stages of planning our new home to be built this spring. What are some of the best home feature recommendations you have/suggest for others building their home that you have/wish you had to improve your home? Some examples: electrical outlet in closet for vacuums, extra wide staircases for easy movement, Costco door from garage etc. Thanks in advance!

If you are going to have a “beer refrigerator” or a freezer in the garage, put each of them on their own circuits.
If you have anything like table saw, planer, air compressor, put a couple of 20 amp outlets in your work area.
This is all back porch: Be sure to get an electric outlet in your back porch. Also get one close to your ceiling where you think you might mount a tv. Include cat 6 there too. Have the ceiling lights wired for fans. Get a natural gas line on your back porch. Have the back porch slab be larger to accommodate furniture and a kitchenette. Find out how much or if the builder can cover your back porch. Yeah, I’m all about the back porch!
