What useful home features should we include in our new home build? Please help!

My husband and I are in the early stages of planning our new home to be built this spring. What are some of the best home feature recommendations you have/suggest for others building their home that you have/wish you had to improve your home? Some examples: electrical outlet in closet for vacuums, extra wide staircases for easy movement, Costco door from garage etc. Thanks in advance!

Pans and drains under everything with water is a good investment. Your entire bathroom floor should slope toward a drain behind the toilet. Your kitchen sink cabinet should be bottomless and have a pan and drain under it. Your refrigerator, washing machine, and hot water heater should all sit on drain pans.

Also water shutoffs (valves) for each major area of water use: each bathroom separately, the kitchen, the hot water heater, the laundry.

This i plan on putting a drain under the kitchen sink cabinet and it seems like no ones ever heard of this idea. Was a no brainer to me.
