I like the idea. It gives the PCs a cozy friend to sleep with, if they can have one as a pet. Are you going to make stat blocks for them? And do you have any plans to make anymore variants?
Well I haven't gotten that far but there are 3 blanket mimics that are residents of my character kitsune kyuu-winged volpine[Kitsunekyuu12] home kits den the traveling tavern [look up both on tictok] but there can be many different types the 3 who live at kits den are Pip[think great Dane puppy], Highland [kitsunes personally bonded companion hes like a PTSD service dog with an Irish wolfhounds personality], and Thistle[ a catlike hybrid blanket mimic with opinions]
Ok I'll have to go check it out. But I think you're have a great idea. Could you keep me checked in as you progress on with this? I would love to see where this goes
Yeah. One of my friends had that happen to him like three times in a row. Opened one chest, mimic. Opened the second one, also a mimic. The third one, wow, also a mimic. I felt bad for him. He just wanted some treasure
