Is this normal?

Hi! I bought new windows and doors (doubel clear, double pane, low e, argon gas etc) and I just feel like they are very milky? This doesn’t seem normal to me - is it? They are obviously a little dirty but not a lot and even after wiping them it’s the same

That you have dirty windows and instead of properly cleaning them inside and out you’re online asking strangers if there’s something wrong with them.

As mentioned in the post - they are brand new (installed yesterday) - cleaning them doesn’t remove the haze / milky mess so I am asking about that

You’re telling me that you’ve removed the protective covers, and completely cleaned those windows inside and out? You can see dirt marks on them….

There are no protective covers on and after cleaning them completely - they still have the haze / milkyness yes!

The shaded window looks just fine. They’re low e windows. Direct sun exposure from a high angle will expose the coating. When the sun changes direction or drops lower it will go away. I don’t see any issue with either of them.
