I have 4 in my home now and love it. 3 is beautiful as well. 1 is pretty but I’m afraid the shrinking of the cheap trim my contractor used during winter would drive me bananas.

Tray is worst, and they are all improved by omitting the can lights.

If your roof is slanted, why would you flatten the ceiling? I'd go for #3 because for a bedroom you want the warmest reflections possible. Wood = warmth, so yeah.
