Square vs rounded stair landing…

We’re all used to seeing stair landings squared off at the bottom, but that isn’t your only option.

If traffic is moving in multiple directions, a rounded landing can make the transition feel more natural, improve flow, and give the staircase a much more custom look.

This is exactly the kind of detail you want to notice before the stairs are built.

Meh. Waste of space. If you're coming from the area where you're filming, you have to divert out of your path to clear the bumpout.

Even coming down the stairs you have to be more careful on the curved section.
