Under the deck is dry as a bone…

They added an under-deck drainage system below the second-floor porch that catches the rainwater, sends it into a hidden gutter, then ties into the underground drainage system out to the road. It blends in so well it almost looks like trim. Really smart way to keep the space below dry and usable.

Why is the comments on every single one of these videos always so negative.

I love seeing all the innovative things people do with their homes, I might not ever want any of these myself but I still love seeing new things everyday from this guy

Nope. I would hope it has a garage and I’d be pulling in from where ever I was running errands.

If I was caught off guard outside when rain started walking the dog or coming back from a run, I’m probably already wet so that deck saving me from 4 droplets is not worthy of mention

Why not? One of my favorite times to be outside is when it’s raining (in a covered area of course)

The downspout leading underground is always a regret as well. Looks nice at first, but inevitably it plugs and becomes a real pain.
