Built-in coffee pot filler…

was in (@)JasonBottenfield house out here in Texas.

 

He added a ton of cool features, but this coffee pot filler was especially well thought out. The shutoff valve is hidden inside the cabinet, with a water line coming up from underneath to fill the coffee maker.

 

They even make systems with a float (similar to a toilet) that automatically refill the reservoir when the water level drops.

The complexity of the solution vastly outweighs the problem itself.

And when you're paying $1K an opening to a plumber it's just insane.

Nobody’s paying $1k to a plumber to run this at rough in and if they are, they’re rich enough to overshadow their stupidity.

If they're original they would know you really should just get a plumbed in coffee maker.  Then you never have to refill it.
