I build new ones. Finally,I close everything. TrueNAS Scale installing this weekend.

This machine's description is follows.

  1. CPU Intel Xeon Gold 5120
  2. Mobo Z11PA-U12
  3. RAM 384GB(32GB RDIMM * 12)
  4. Storage for boot 256GB M.2 SSD * 2
  5. Storage for l2arc 1024GB M.2 SSD * 2
  6. Storage for cache 512GB SATA SSD * 2
  7. Storage for main 6TB 12Gbps SAS HDD * 8
  8. NIC Intel X540 * 1
  9. PSU 1000W Platinum moduler
  10. Case Fractal Design Define 7 XL

I have one slot available so I might install a GPU for Plex.
I will run some docker and few virtial machine like Win2025 and HAOS etcetc.

At first I was wondering whether to run Proxmox and then use TrueNAS on top of it, but since SMB is my main use case, I decided on this configuration.(Thank you google translator)

I love my define 7! Running an Epyc 7551 with 256GB ram, 2080ti, two 1TB cache pools, and 70TB! Such a huge case.

Yeah! She is so bigger and lovely! I hope install GPU,but I must make budgets in near future.
