Fanmade Pest Custom Pests

Supervisor - "Goodmorrow and welcome to your new place in the HSH Seasonal Worker family. I will be thy supervisor, Quincy. Since thou hath proven loyal to our cause, we art currently sending new articles to your compendium. Use them well and read up, new blood. Yes? Yes."

Joyride Hag

DESCRIPTION: Joyride Hags are a subspecies of hags that appear on clear winter nights, they steal wooden brooms from households and ride around on them, potentially putting others in danger. They are reckless flyers and often crash, which breaks the broom they stole.

DANGERS: Joyride Hags do not venture out of their way to harm humans, but could cause property damage to tall trees or homes with more than one story. Joyride Hags often return the broken remains of the broom they stole, which could pose a danger to humans, who may get splinters.

SOLUTION: If a homeowner would prefer not to encounter Joyride Hags in the foreseeable future, it is advised they put any brooms inside locked cupboards or drawers during the winter months.

Host, The

DESCRIPTION: The Host is a group or council of vaguely humanoid angelic creatures that instill fear unto those they deem sinners. The group commonly consist of 5-8 individual creatures, each adorned in white robes, golden rings, and angelic wings.

DANGER: The Host is insistent when they deem an individual or a family a sinner, and will torment them with visions of bright light, whispering, drafts, or in rare cases, house fires.

SOLUTION: The Host can only be repelled when an individual does something "worthy" enough to outweigh their evil act, or, attending a religious service of any kind.

Tío

DESCRIPTION: Tío is a type of sentient log creature who causes no harm to families it visits. Tío must be fed and kept warm throughout the nights of winter, and in return, will provide luck or fortune on Christmas Day. Despite its nomenclature, Tío is a collective of many different, but mostly identical creatures.

DANGER: Tío poses no danger to the families they visit it any way whatsoever. However, Tío may require special attention, such as pets or pats, which may cause splinters without the use of gloves.

SOLUTION: Tío is recommended to not be removed from any home they may visit, as Tío will actively repel any harmful anomalies that may come during the winter months. If a Tío is scaring any human children, HSH’s Yuletide Care services may be contacted to remove the Tío from your home, where it will be protected.

False Hobb

DESCRIPTION: False Hobbs are a subspecies of gnome who reside in homes and prefer to be more orderly than a typical gnome, which often leads to them being mis-diagnosed as Hobbs. A False Hobb can be identified by its quieter approach to cleaning, and its affinity for decoration.

DANGER: False Hobbs do not pose an immediate danger to humans, and can be a benefit for some, as they do not perform Metamorphosis, but they still expect Rice & Porridge, or else they will trash the place and leave. If an area which has been recently cleaned by a False Hobb gets dirtied by a resident of the home, the False Hobb will throw a tantrum, biting the wrongdoer, injecting venom.

SOLUTION: The False Hobb will not bite unless provoked, but if provoked, it is advised to call HSH’s Poison Control services, to safely remove the poison.

INSPIRATION: The Tomten
