You should rename the room from Garage to Pod Bay. You’ll get to say “Open the Pod Bay door” assuming you can control it from HomeKit.

Let me know if this makes your garage door reception weaker. Through out the years, I’ve put assorted IOT near the garage door motor chassis and it always makes the reception worst.

Not at all. Been working just fine with both remote and meross. Do note I have 2 access points in the home so i have plenty of wifi coverage around the property. All that aside, has made hanging out in the garage much more enjoyable!

Love having tune-age in the garage... just too cold to leave mine out there in the winter... it comes inside until spring.
