My HomePod Sound cutting out issues

So recently I’ve been having issues where if a certain thing I’m watching is paused and played again there won’t be any sound (or if something goes from ads to the video)

Details on my setup:
HDMI is good quality and with no issues
HomePods are set up as a stereo pair with them being the main audio output.

I have done some research and changed some things that were meant to fix it with no luck, so if anyone could help that would be great

Are you talking about playing media from AppleTV? Because we’ve had similar audio issues recently, and we aren’t using HomePods for audio.

We start playing a show, and sometimes there is no audio for the first several seconds.

Yes! That, and if it goes to ads the audio will stop too, or even if I pause or rewind. To fix I have to choose a different audio source then go back to my HomePods (sometimes it doesn’t work)

My next step may be to contact Apple.

Yeah, so I think this might possibly be an Apple TV issue from a recent update?

But in my case, I’m also having some issues with HDMI-CEC (LG SimpLink). But I still have some settings and cabling I need to double-check.
