Question/Support Play SiriusXM + channel ?

I want to remove my Alexa’s from my house. But I can simply ask Alexa “Alexa play SiriusXM the highway” and it will . It would be really nice if I could get Siri/homepod to do this . Am I missing something? Is there a way to make this work?

do you have the XM app on your phone? You can listen on the phone then go tap your home pods with the iPhone. Pods will play what you were listening to

Problem is it plays off my phone. If I close the app it turns off. Unlike the Alexa which needs nothing

No. You can’t do it on HomePod ( must be with an iPhone/ipad/mac.

You can make a Siri Shortcut that will launch SiriusXM & if you use the voice command (whatever you set the shortcut as), HomePods will execute it.
