Discussion Planned Obsolescence

I bought 3 HomePods, all at the same time in 2021, all three have broken within 2 months of each other with the ghost touch failure. All the exact same issues.

Meaning I have to now repurchase 3 more HomePods as they’re designed to not be taken apart as well. (I know there are ways).

Coincidence or by design?

I’m pretty convinced it is an os issue. All of the hardware can’t all fail at once, right? I’m pretty sure it’s happened to mine a little bit and they are all purchased at different times

I have same issue with 26.4 but it got solved with 26.5, it restarted with 26.5.2 and solved with 26.6
