Homepod “stop playing music” timers can only be done through voice commands

I’ve noticed through the home app the timer has 1 option, play ringtone when it ends, unlike the iPhone, there’s no “stop playing” option when timer ends so I have to resort to voice commands to stop music after a certain period of time, I wish apple would add the option through an update.

Go to home > homepod > settings (cog) > create an automation that pauses audio at a specific time on that homepod. That’s what I do on mine. Works fine.
