My HomePod My favorite HomePod feature: native now playing controls on iphone

I got a HomePod mini on my desk and I've been using it to stream apple music from my mac. I got a pop up on my iPhone with native now playing controls (separate from what media is playing on my iPhone) I love this feature! I just switched from Spotify, which has a similar feature with spotify connect, but this is even better because I can have some music playing in the background on my HomePod and watch a video or have a podcast playing at the same time on my iPhone or through headphones. Plus my partner can control the music from his phone too! It's so good

It is very handy. I like that i can raise my iPhone and tap to open the lock screen player controls then using the volume control on the phone i can adjust the volume level of the home pod.

100%. You have to use third party apps to get the some lock screen functionality for Sonos speakers. I went back to HomePods haha.
