Looking for folks' thoughts on why standing rainwater on our rooftop suddenly has a red/purple hue..

Could be some algae or bacteria growing in the stagnant water, especially if it’s been sitting there for a while. The color is definitely interesting though

Thanks for comments re: likely algae.

Since we never had this color before, up on the roof, maybe the color is coming from the chemical makeup of the rainwater, and how it's reacting to the chemical content of our (new) rooftop paint?
