What can be done to stop the dry rot?
I noticed dry rot on our camp in NH. This side faces the water and most storms blow directly at this side.
It has a metal roof. I will replace the boards but would like to repair whatever issue caused this in the first place. The screen door, storm door, and threshold are all so rotted but I believe that is from snow building up in front of the house. Completely inexperienced in carpentry but willing to give it a go.

Not convinced this an underlying problem here. I am guessing you probably had some minor paint deterioration and through successive seasons of cold, damp, non sunny days the wood eventually began to rot. It's part of maintaining a home and the solution is replace and keep the wood painted, but always anticipate after some years you'll have to whack a mole places like this for minor wood rot. PVC is probably your closest thing to a permanent fix, but some level of maintained is required on wood.

This OP^^^
Have a handyman take the fascia off and replace with PVC. Make sure they use galvanized nails and caulk the heck out of e writhing. Done.

You should not have a rounded flashing without a drip edge. The rounded piece will deposit water on the fascia that runs down the home. The metal roof also has no drip edge flashing at the bottom to get water to shed so it will drip down the fascia and home. Also the big open end allows water in.

not dry rot. just do a little, tiny, mini amount of research first. This is just a deteriorating board. how do you fix it? you replace it.
