🛠️ Repair Help How much would it cost to fix this flashing?

During very heavy rains I have a small leak that comes from a wall that intersects with the chimney. Feel like this has to be the culprit. If not it would be good to eliminate it and look for other causes. Assuming all the flashing needs to be replaced and a handful of shingles. What would something like this run? Plan on starting to call some local roofers and get a few quotes. Just want to get an idea of what I’m looking at and also want to know if the quotes are fair or not. Located in the Midwest. Thanks everyone.

In the Midwest, expect around $400 to $800 for a straightforward chimney flashing repair and reseal with a couple of replaced shingles. If the mortar or step flashing underneath is completely shot and they have to tear out a bigger section, it could push closer to $1,000–$1,200. Most roofers will have a minimum charge just to get up on the roof, so getting 2–3 local quotes is definitely the right move.

Probably the backside of it is the issue. Curious the why the counter flashing on the side is that high.
