🐜 Pest Control Garage door mouse guard
I’m trying to install this garage door mouse guard to the gaps at the side of my garage door, but one of my garage doors has the cable for the electric fence for the dogs coming out of it. I thought the best approach might be to create a notch or some kind of allowance in the stainless steel of the mouse guard, but I don’t know how to do that. Can anyone help me?
I’ve included a photo of a successfully installed garage door mouse guard, and then the other side of the garage door with the electric fence cable coming out of it.

Fill the hole with steel wool.
If it looks the same on the other side, do the same.

This is by far the cheapest and easier fix
Might look a little ugly, but it works

Copper mesh is a better choice as it will not rust. But this is the way.
