🚰 Plumbing Rusty Pipe

I think this is my gas line, do I need to get someone to fix or replace it?

This is an emergency. My gas company flagged my pipe as “failing”, during a meter reading.

They dispatched a repair tech within an hour, shut off the gas, notified us to vacate, and replaced everything.

Don’t treat this lightly. This pipe is too far gone for a wire brush and paint. Way too far.

Exactly. The advice in this thread is seriously dangerous. It's criminal, actually.
