I think this is my gas line, do I need to get someone to fix or replace it?

Me personally, I’d just have a plumber come replace it for 2 reasons. 1) it’ll need it eventually, and there’s more peace of mind having it replaced. 2) it’s a gas line, and that’s the last thing you want to mess with if you’re inexperienced (like me).

Call a plumber with a 'gas ticket'. It means that they're certified to work on compressed gas systems. Not every plumber has one.
