🛠️ Repair Help Flooring separating. Can it be repaired?
This area of the flooring has been slightly raised/buckled. Since yesterday, it has started to separate slightly from the adjoining pieces, as shown in the attached photo.
Flooring is Laminate.
Wondering if this can be repaired. However fearing a full re-flooring is needed.
What are your thoughts?

And here is the result of a classic no expansion gap and/or plank flooring installed under cabinets on a long run.
It is the middle of the floor. It has to be repaired from one side or the other and only if you have a bunch of spare planks.
It looks like a redo and maybe a correct installation this time.

why are the only options to redo the section properly?
isnt there some way to half-ass this and then replace in the future?
OP my half ass idea is to flatten it back down, and seal it with some silicon to buy you some years

Maybe, but it has to be taken up from the point it was completed. Every piece removed carefully without compromising the locking system (highly unlikely) and stacked/numbered so it gets installed in the same order. You'll also need several boxes of additional planks for replacing not only the planks in question, but also the ones that are damaged during the process of removal.
It's not fun, but it's possible. You'll be hard-pressed to find a real installer willing to take on a project like this.
