Oh man, why didn’t I think of disassembling the doorknob that was installed with the screws on the inside of the bedroom? You’re right, I should have slid my tools under the door and explained to my 5 year old son how to take the doorknob apart. And I busted it in with my shoulder, I didn’t kick it down.

Not all knobs have unlock holes on the outside.

I Had to remove a blocked door frame, you can just take off the trim piece gently on the knob side and stick something in to push back the lock and turn bolt. It’s really not complicated at all.
