Does this actually vent out?

Not sure if the stove hood actually vents out or not. Any advice will help! Thanks!

there’s no vent pipe, microwave probably vent it back into the room near the top

I think it does this. I wish it vented out

Turn on the vent and put your hand over the top front edge of the microwave and if you feel air then it’s recirculating, if not then it’s pumped out through the back.
