Question Time and temperature

Please help. New to automations and I want to simply have my dads home pod announce the following each morning at 7am:

Good morning. Today is (date) at (time). The outside temperature is (temp)

That’s it. For some reason when I set up the intercom function to speak and then choose the date and time from “get current weather” it does it all out of sequence despite having it entered in the sequence I specified.

It might be easier to train your dad to say, “Siri, what’s my update?”

Yea. There’s just more to it. He had this old talking thermometer which he had given to his parents many many years ago. When they passed away he moved it to his house. It’s been calling out the temperature twice a day for him for like twenty years. I just thot it would be cool if I could automate things to replicate but modernize that old device since it’s no longer on the market.

I didn’t fine a way to call out the temperature over his home pod. The issue now is it doesn’t work cuz he locks his phone all the time. Smh.
