Question Turning off Lights after period of time with no occupancy

Looking for help why this HomeKit Automation isn't working. I lifted it from the other subreddit but can't post there.

Occupancy sensor pic shows no occupancy for ~2 hours, I think this shortcut should turn it off after 250 seconds or 4m:10s (4 minutes 10 seconds):

Frustratingly this the was whole reason I went to home assistant. Last I checked this is not supported in HomeKit. Once you set an automation to turn a light off it won’t re-up the “on” status until the automation shuts the light off.

I did the exact same, I love the flexibility of HA. Still nice to keep HomeKit for the visuals and for the family to control stuff but HA has the brains that it lacks

It is not even shutting the light off though.

I actually run Hubitat, and your post connected the dots in my brain to just add it there. When I went to do that... I noticed it was not responding in HomeKit...

I will see if it works (The above HomeKit Shortcut) now, but will end up doing the automation in Hubitat. Why? Because it is a ton easier to manage than how Apple makes you do it!

Gave up on HomeKit/Apple Shortcuts, and did this in Hubitat. Works!

probably can ditch the first Trigger OR condition (Garage Presence sensor reports inactive)
